The Research Laboratories of Saigon High-Tech Park is a business unit, which was launched  to serve the mission of carrying out scientific research and technological development under the Saigon High-Tech Park management; established under the Decision No. 52/2004/QD-UB March 8, 2004 the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and organizational adjustments under the Decision No. 3591/2009/QD-UBND July  28, 2009.

Abbreviation Name is Trung tâm R&D (Vietnamese); SHTP Labs (English).



SHTP Labs’s technical infrastructure and equipment was invested by the state (Ho Chi Minh city) to perform original research, application and development of high technology and new technology. Domestic and foreign organizations and individuals can cooperate with  SHTP Labs under the provisions of the law.

The headquarter office and Laboratories of SHTP Labs are located at Lot I3, N2 Street in Saigon High-Tech Park, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

Research: SHTP R&D Center focuses on the several disciplines including new and advanced materials, nano technology, precision mechanics and automation and semiconductor. These are also SHTP’s sectors of priority in its mission to call for high tech investment and develop local technology in Vietnam. In addition to its own studies, the center receives research projects from the government and partners, local and abroad.

Production and business: SHTP R&D Center is the cooperation and association hyphen in exploring both local and foreign markets to commercialize the Center’s research studies. It runs pilot production to test the market before transferring those technologies to enterprises. The Center also receives contracts from the government, its tenants, local and foreign partners to run pilot production.
